In every lesson at Blacon High School students are graded with a Study Skills and Attitude (SSA) grade reflecting their attitude to learning. These SSA grades are monitored and at the end of each half term five students from each year group with the best SSA grade average, are entered into the ‘What’s in the Box’ prize draw. The lucky student whose name is pulled from the draw, has the chance to choose between two boxes, both containing a substantial prizes. These students also receive a letter home and a golden certificate which invites them to a reward experience.
