There are two opportunities for an Apprenticeship in Pharmacy Services Level 2. One is based at the Blacon branch and one at the Kingsway branch. The start date is May/ June 2024 but this could be later if a current Year 11 student is interested in this.

The Apprenticeship is an excellent start to a recognised career path with opportunity to progress to Level 3 and 4 Technician status and the membership of a professional body. 

The qualification is recognised across the NHS and is transferable to the hospital setting. 

We are looking for a driven student with a pleasant and outgoing personality, hard working with good communication skills and who will be able to cope in a busy environment.  We require GCSE passes at grade 5 or above in English and Maths. 

It is ideal for someone who is perhaps looking for an alternative to University or College and wants to build a career. 

If individuals are interested, they could come into the pharmacy for a taster session or if students are currently in year 11 they can speak to Miss Thomas / Mr Hughes about this position.
